Who are we

April Mortgages provides borrowers with peace of mind, with a range of fixed rate mortgages from 5 to 15 years, available up to 95% LTV.

There are no Early Repayment Charges for those who move house or use their own funds to repay the mortgage and as the borrower pays off their balance and drops into lower LTV brackets, their fixed rate reduces automatically.

Mortgage advisers also enjoy peace of mind, through a rewarding ongoing commission structure.

We may be new to the UK market, but our approach has already been tried and tested in the Netherlands, where our parent company launched a lender called MUNT in 2014. In that short time, they have already provided mortgages to more than 100,000 customers and established their position as one of the top lenders in the country.

We fund long-term mortgage assets with long-term liabilities such as pension fund money. This is much more simple, it’s a more efficient form of funding and it means we can deliver customers a straightforward proposition with fewer associated costs.

Innovation

We reward our customers in ways we believe will set new standards in the UK market. As a customer’s loan reduces over time and they reduce their LTV, we will automatically reduce their interest rate. In addition, we don’t charge any ERC’s if a customer makes overpayments or sells their property.

As well as their original proc fee, we will also pay advisers an Annual Service fee from year six of the product term for the remainder of the term to reward them for being available to offer advice.
