Our process and how to get a quote

To provide you with an accurate quote for our Lifetime Care Plan, we use Medicals Direct to gather medical information on our behalf.

    Register with us

    To be able to get a quote for the Lifetime Care Pan, you need to have registered with us as an agency.

    One electronic application is all your need to set up an agency with us and other participating product providers. You can use Origo's agency services to set up and manage your agency.

    This secure electronic application speeds up the process compared to paper-based approaches. You'll also receive electronic confirmation that your application has been successful.

    If you have a new individual agency number you will be automatically registered to use our systems and will receive an email from our Auto Registrations mailbox with your user details.

    Get an agency number

    Call charges will vary. We may record and monitor calls. If you're contacting us by email please remember not to send any personal, financial or banking information belonging to you or your client because email is not a secure method of communication.

    Care Fees Plan Questionnaire

    Complete the Care Fees Plan Questionnaire with your client and email it to icp@medicalsdirectgroup.co.uk.

    If your client has a legal representative through Power of Attorney or the Court of Protection, they should be involved and you'll need to attach proof of their right to act on your client’s behalf.

    Medicals Direct will email you to acknowledge that the documentation has been received.

  3. 3

    Medical information

    An experienced nurse employed by Medicals Direct will conduct a tele-interview to obtain medical information from the care provider. An interview transcript will be completed, quality checked and sent to us.

    If it’s not possible to arrange a tele-interview, a Care Manager's Report will be sent via email for the care provider to complete.

    In some circumstances we may need more medical information and request a GP report.

  4. 4

    Quote pack issued

    Once we’ve received all the required information, we’ll send you a quote pack via email containing our Key Facts, Acceptance Form and Care Provider Declaration. The email will also contain links to our Key Features and Terms and Conditions documents.
