We recognise that employers and members have different goals and attitudes when looking for the right pension investment for them. That’s why we offer a variety of pension funds with varying levels of responsible investing approaches incorporated. Across our pension range, some of the funds offered do not explicitly incorporate responsible investing into their fund objective or aim. However, regardless of a fund’s inclusion of specific responsible investing objectives, LGIM applies active ownership (engagement and voting) across all the funds managed by a Legal & General company.

The guide includes details on our four main standard default options, which are the Multi-Asset Fund, Future World Multi-Asset Fund, Drawdown Lifestyle and Target Date Funds. If you haven’t chosen your own funds your money will be automatically invested in the default investment option for your workplace plan, chosen by your employer.
